Educatius Group is the global leader in organizing high school programs abroad, facilitating over 6,000 students from more than 60 countries annually in customized programs worldwide. With 30 offices in 21 countries and partnerships with over 2,000 schools, Educatius connects students with tailored high school experiences across the globe.

To enhance their digital presence and operational efficiency, Educatius sought to develop a centralized online platform capable of managing multiple websites in various languages, tailored to the needs of each market

Challenge

  • Complex Multilingual and Multi-Market Needs: Educatius required a platform that could support multiple websites in different languages, with content tailored to the specific needs and preferences of each market, rather than simple translations.
  • Centralized yet Flexible Management: The solution needed to empower local markets with independent content management systems while maintaining global consistency through a centralized infrastructure.
  • Integration of Business Functions: The platform needed to integrate seamlessly with external platforms, including CRMs, to enable secure and efficient data exchange across Educatius’ global ecosystem.
  • Comprehensive User Experience: Prospective students, parents, and partners needed a streamlined, user-friendly interface to explore programs, view details (e.g., pricing, availability, and services), and build customized programs (SELECT).
  • Brand Differentiation: The platform had to serve two primary brands: Explorius (focused on student-facing content) and Educatius.org (the corporate site for partners and parents), each with distinct functionality and audiences.

Solution

We partnered with Dentsu Sweden to design and implement a multi-site WordPress-based platform that addressed Educatius’ unique requirements:

  1. Multi-Site, Multi-Language System: Developed a centralized, multi-tier platform capable of managing multiple websites with independent content management systems for each market. Each site featured customized themes and content tailored to the local audience’s needs, ensuring cultural and market relevance.
  2. Custom Modules and Integrations: Built custom themes, plugins, and modules to enable diverse business functions across the platform. Integrated with external platforms, including CRMs, to facilitate secure data exchange and support seamless workflows across Educatius’ ecosystem.
  3. Enhanced User Experience: Designed the platform as a single-stop shop for prospective students and partners to explore high school programs across countries. Provided detailed program information, including pricing, availability, and value-added services, alongside the ability to build customized programs through the SELECT feature.
  4. Two-Brand Structure: Structured the platform around two main site brands - Explorius, tailored for prospective students, featuring multi-language support and program information; and Educatius.org, a corporate site designed for partners and parents, offering high-level organizational information and resources.
  5. Additional Functionalities: Integrated Zoom for webinars, study consultations, and meetings, with seamless CRM integration to track user interactions. Developed an Agent Dashboard, enabling partnered agents to access targeted information and manage specific student or group needs efficiently.
